Mwihaki Turay is the founder and principal designer of  MTTD. From an early age, Mwihaki has had a keen eye for design, decor, and beautiful spaces. She took her love for design and began the design studio, where she curates and designs exceptional beautiful ageless spaces. She is committed to developing her art and thinks that each project should be given its own soul by curating each project for the client.

Her work has grown to be recognized for its varied, outlandish, aesthetically stimulating, and timelessly elegant aesthetic inspired by the things around her, such as nature, natural textures, elements, colours, and fabrics. Her joy in design is heavily inspired by her culture which is unique in its own mandate to interior design and architecture and from her many travels.
